For the record, I do love my Telugu identity. its one of the many identities that I can wear. Its one you also wear @Raven_Raeyes .. you can make fun of Andhra as much as you want.. but you are a Telugu speaking person too :) and I love you.

it gives you access to opportunities, both economic, and cultural, no?

I'm only against promoting notions that there be unity among Telugus. especially political unity. because each people's needs and aspirations are different.

how awesome would it be to have a dozen Telugu areas, than just bringing all of them under one state?

typical Hindu UC argument. which is a rehash of the buddhist one.

don't care about the broad directions that things around you move. shut yourself out of everything, and care only about your own self.

how has it worked out for India? lol. you guys never learn, never introspect. and on top of that, give gyan to people who do.

It is indeed awesome to have a dozen telugu speaking areas rather than uniting them as one. I had a problem with the people who tried to use it for political gains anthe.

Identity ante nuvu palana ani sepithe gurtu pattadam...nenu telugodini ani evadikanna chepithe ae telugu ? andhra na leka telangana na ani adugutaru....ie problem vunnadi only andhra lo ne..

Most other native language speakers who prefer to identify themselves on the basis of the language have no such problem except Andhra Telugu's.

They should shed their language identity and get back to what their regional identity is.

You would have been identified as Andhra, if not for your NTR/TDP.

So, whom should be blamed for this identity crisis ?

Who denied? Being Indian is an inheritance left behind by the British. Not just the name but even our present day governing kuda ie manufactured identity side product ae....

Telangana manufactured identity endi, it's a region man. They were known as Dakhni, Hyderabadi and Telugu in the most recent times...danikante mundu inkedo..inkedo...anthe kani Telangana identity endi ?

Telangana is a region; Telugu is the language I speak, and I inherited language and region by default. Evadu vachi chepaledu that I speak telugu and I belong to Telangana ani...

Idi difference. Manufactured identity ki inherited identity ki...

inherited identity is also manufactured. Telangana govt is currently in the process of reinforcing the "inherited" identity by promoting certain festivals as state festivals, and certain accents as Telangana accents.

I think people can have multiple identities. no problem. politicizing one identity is a problem.

Rey picchal - if you cannot unite with people and forge a common identity then others will enslave you- that has been history. Identity is for protection. And language has been proven to be the best form of identity leading to equality/scientific spirit etc.

Your obsession or hatred of andhra tho ni mind dobbindhi. aa narsi gaadu nee type except he tries to look more sophisticated reason for it.

its not a gang, duh!

I have more disagreements with those two than I have with you. except the fact that you seem to be young and idealistic about one of the most dangerous human endeavours - politics.

you have no clue about what you are saying when you talk about telugu unity. It can never happen. But Telugu speaking people can/are/ and will continue to interact in way more meaningful ways than the fictitious Telugu state you want can ever dream of initiating.

nuvvu anti muslim lens tho choosthey alaaney untaay ba. actually andulo kooda, telugodura is okay with violence against muslims, but I'm strongly anti hindutva ba.

Telugodura is a sanghi with telugu loving mask. Like a lot of Tamil nationalists who make excuses for caste, while railing against north Indians and Telugus inside TamilNadu.
