@Jatka Bandi technically speaking... in theory there is no issue for aircrafts with 5G.

kaani they are playing safe bet here.

5G spectrum is 3.7-4.2GHz initially.

Aircraft communications use 4.2-4.4GHz from long time..

a chinna overlap of 4.2 GHz interference kosam FAA asked to move 5G spectrum to 4.1 and then to below 4.0

below 4.0 velte it becomes unfeasible for mobile carriers to roll out 5G.

4.2GHz band lo overlap ayyevi may not be commercial and professional aircrafts..but people here fly lots of old age flights which have old instruments..a interference will cost lives if accident happen..

Yup.. well aware of the debate around 5G.. they are being safe about a new technology.. we have rolled out ways for this issue.. ido pedda topic.. there is dominance mafia playing in as well.. will list out some other time..

yes.... spectrum bandwidth is very costly and real market.

Update as of 01/19

 

Emirates flights to New York JFK, Los Angeles (LAX) and Washington DC (IAD)  continue to operate as scheduled.

Emirates will operate the following flights to Boston (BOS), Houston (IAH), and San Francisco (SFO):

 

20 January 2022:

‑ EK237 from Dubai to Boston

‑ EK 225 from Dubai to San Francisco

‑ EK 211 from Dubai to Houston

 

21 January 2022:

‑  EK 238 from Boston to Dubai

‑  EK 226 from San Francisco to Dubai

‑  EK 212 from Houston to Dubai

 

Other flights to these destinations remain suspended.
