actually chala counties law pass chesai about same thing..

racial discrimination is acceptable until certain level , when it is done for the case of upbringing of other races.

mainly in education ani.... calif lo kuda also passed   @r2d2

I personally know one student who lost admission to lower grade student due to this rule in Medicine School.

they'll be fine, if they enroll elsewhere and take the same course they wanted to take in that ivy school.

they just won't get the ivy network. Its not about merit, but about the network.

Its a sign of declining civilization - eg. UK, where people clamour to get into institutions that give them social status. There's no other way to get that status unless your kid is a genius. The less prestigious these institutions, the better society you'll be leaving for your kids. This is the world US has built.. keep blaming Dems for it.

anyway I think admissions in US universities are way too random, inspite of standardized tests.

actually standardized tests have been proven to not disadvantage poorer kids by much. But for some reason, US universities are doin away with it. which actually disadvantages poorer students of different racial backgrounds to give seats to richer people of colour.

especially asking for letters of recommendation, and extracurricular activity certificates, which are all very hard for poor people to procure.

I hope Indian parents dont feed racial poison to their kids who didn't get through to IVY schools.

Its not like the kids won't pick it up elsewhere, but I suspect Indian parents have the habit to be openly racist in dinner talks.

Same thing they did in adjacent Loudoun county- they also have a stem school.
