for $ 680K -I have cash to pay 20 % down - but thinking of putting 5 % down and remaining thinking of putting in 15 %( around 100K)

in stocks( apple, Microsoft)- they have been giving minimum of 25 % on avg every year for past 5 years.

What is your opinion, is it good idea to put less or put 20%

if you really want to take risk then may be balance it out. mortgage payments for 20% and 5% will differ a lot.

calculate how much your monthly payments will be if you 20% ,15%,10% and 5%.

find a spot which is comfortable for you.

It you can manage to pay the pmi and extra monthly payment . Yes, go for it

but stock market is highly unstable . Think about next 15-30 years time when you decide

first of all in current market interest rates are going up and unless ur doing 20% you won’t have upper hand in negotiation on interest rates from different lenders…so think twice about on how to proceed
