Drop Box Question

Hi Guys,

Can someone provide clear information on the eligibility for H1B DropBox based on my scenario.

I got my F1 Stamped in India in 2009 and I have had my H1B stamped on once i.e. in 2016 in Jamaica.
Never had to travel as parents and in laws have been visiting.
I never had my stamping done for H1B in India.
In case if I have to travel to India in next couple of weeks, I have my current H1B valid till Dec 2022.
Also, I have my EAD/AP card with me which I got couple of months ago (valid for 2 yrs).
No expectation of I485 approval yet , since mine is 2014 PD.
I don't want to use my EAD/AP unless I have to if there is any issue with H1B stamping or anything since it has its own disadvantages .
If I go to India ,will I be eligible for DropBox ,I saw in sites like redbus2us.com etc. where they have explained the process.
But wanted to get input from someone who might have been in the same siltation  of is aware of this type of scenario .
