The girl has a skin condition called Vitiligo.

Her mom killed herself 10yrs ago, and her father remarried. The stepmom has a kid of her own, and doesn't allow this kid to mingle with others while in the house. joined her in hostel in another town, serving in separate plates when she's home, forced to sleep separately etc.

when the hostel closed for Pongal, she was afraid to go home and consumed poison. She was admitted to the hospital with severe stomach pain which didn't subside for 4 days on Jan 15th. they found her liver severely damaged and the girl then told the docs that she did indeed consume a fertilizer. She died the next day.

the warden has nothin to do with it.. although the warden was already arrested on 16th as a precaution.
