Imho right now situation nor socio-economic structure isn't viable for further division of ap...even the people of ap should ready for that thing to happen instead they can concentrate on consolidating their infrastructure and  their natural resources so that they can be back on track ..oka 20 to 30 years tarvatha if needed division can be done!!! Ippatikaithey political class in ap should come together and work on developmental goals and avi kuda realistic ga undali ...they can do one thing administration wise, they can be divided into regions like putting some districts together and form developmental forums so that each area's unique resources and manpower can tapped into and utilised efficiently ...these developmental forums should be legally accountable and they should be within the executive framework, all this needs a lot of political as well as intellectual investment but unfortunately they are immersed in petty politics and quarelling against each other!

Light abba , AP has already been set on path of ruin after it matched Telangana salaries in 2014

For all eight years , the state is paying more in salaries + pensions +interests  than entire revenue 

On top of that welfare schemes , there is no scope for any expenditure for Infrastructure.  There is no money to even implement central schemes 

State needs a reboot , there's no fixing it in current form. 

I mean look at employees striking for more pay when AP pays highest percentage of revenue towards salaries in entire india

What is the purpose of dividng a district based on Lok sabha seat  and not administrative convience ? 

For example let's observe so called tirupathi district 

For 60-70% of the population Nellore city is closer than tirupathi , from Sarvepalli to tada  and people in this area are closely related to Nellore than tirupathi 

Even worse a small part of Nellore city falls into this district 

If administration/convience  is the reason , there is absolutely no reason to create this tirupathi distirct they should just  carve out parts of Kadapa and chittoor into it 

The headquarters of this district should be either naidupeta or sullurupeta not tirupathi

I mean vijaywada distirct is still logical in the sense it's all existing krishna district and good people to people relations

Its still the main center for all the people living around there 

Ongole district will also have parts  of existing Prakasam district . There's nothing wrong with it 

I don't find anything objectionable about these two
