How does Netflix make money ?

Every year spending around 200-300 crores on buying(10-20 big/medium budget movies) telugu movies , how are they making money ?

Is it why Netflix lost 100 billion dollars in Market cap 3 days back ?

Isn't telugu audience subscriptions already saturated ? I mean whoever want to get Netflix probably already got it , no ?

These bigger companies sometimes are willing to bleed money in developing markets in order to increase their foot hold and same seems to be the case with Netflix as they are having difficulties in sustaining and increasing their subscriber based which is evident from 2020 vs 2021 new customer sign up which fell by almost 50% ... I feel that even though Netflix has the highest revenue from subscription in India they are unable to make money from other means such as advertising or video on demand models where hotstar is able to get some good traction ... also the other problem for Netflix compared to Amazon or hotstar is that their content is relatively distant and out of touch for Indian local market

Some Indian Employees/Executives at Netflix are making lots of side money through these deals.

Netflix or Amazon or Uber lanti business, they try to expand in Asian market..

they will burn cash..endukante local copies similar ones spring up avvadam chala easy.

monotony of the local business is greater than the outside players

Netflix vachaka Prime..they tried to expand..

but within no time individual desi streaming services sprung up in no time... Hotstar, Zee5, Ullu, Aha..and control their own regional content..

NFLX and Prime odiki workout avvadu unles he collaborates with the production cost which will eat up their profits...

Thats not correct and the increase is only in USA and Canada not all over the world
