you can justify his suggestions in a 100 different ways. It wouldn't matter. It's better if he reflects on his own utterance, and avoids such blatantly one sided advice in the future.

one sided advice ani enduku anukuntunnav ? pravachanalu oka essay or paper kaadu, anni summarize chesesi oke saari cheppadaniki.. ikkada ammayilaki suggest chesthunnadu, vere pravachanam lo abbayilaki untadi.. personality, self-control, using youth wisely etc..

still I dont understand how this is useful to anyone. sounds a lot like self help seminar, that gives out byte sized advice completely out of context with people's lives.

the problem with this kind of lectures is that the lecturer and the audience have completely different experience with life, and there's no 'conversation' going on here.

this is lot like Jordan Peterson giving advice like "clean your room". There's nothing profound about it, even though garikapati may reference to puranas to add heft to his advice, it is completely immaterial to majority of youth.

For eg. he says youth should develop self control, but he doesn't expand why. Why because it'll affect their IIT preparation? lol. basically kids having s3x is not a problem. the problem is consent. garikapati doesn't touch this. because he's out of touch with today's reality.

kids have s3x.. and lots of it. Even those who do end up going to IIT. The only thing they need to be taught is to respect each other's boundaries.

agreed to what you are saying, the world today is advancing fast.. not particularly in right direction.. and media/movies has a lot to do with it.. celebrities from movie field are influencing people in their own style.. think that people like garikapati are the other side of the aisle.. they are advocates of conservative India, in the belief system where people think, what was wrong with our style, why do we have to adopt western style.. even the people who think that wear western clothes as it's kinda inevitable in this generation..

self-control is very important thing.. having sex is not lack of self-control but getting addicted to it is..

also, if you are from a traditional family and know that your parents get hurt if they know you had sex before marriage, it's your call.. how much respect you have for them and how much self control you have..
