now a days,arranged marriage ante marrying used piece applies to both genders. It is just for marrying for dowry (some cases) or to go with parents word/parents selection. At least love marriage we see whether the other person is loyal or not . In arranged there is no option, parents select a girl/boy without knowing much about background and arrange marriage for sake of caste/dowry.

Any presumably intelligent species should know  not to over produce and over consume their ecosystems. If we procreate at current rate, we wont be able to sustain our planet in the long run. Nature has its own way of cleansing, but as "smart species" we should have enough decency to give some breathing space to the planet.
