Typically, one of the realtor told me in the past that houses with attached garage are usually preferred by customers due to safety reasons along with direct connection into the house and ease of access for anything that we store in the garage

Depends on city. Cali ayithe detached is ok. East cosast ayithe attached better, snow & cold ki you can walk into home directly

Detached best baa. Maa intlo garage is atleast a 3 minute walk away from the main house all the way near the backyard as we live in a country home. 

But city homes lo you won't find such an option, they are attached to the front of the house. I hate that
