Most present day Indians languages are closely related. Marathi and Tamil May not be closely similar but Odiya, Bengali and Assamese are…Telugu and Kannada, kastha try chesthe chadavochu. Malayali and Tamil, not sure but emaina similarity vundochu…gujarati and Marathi…north eastern languages etc..
