affordability evadu dekhatledu bro , I have seen people single income earning 100-120k buying 500k+ properties , not sure how they can afford the monthly payments and live comfortably as half salary will go for mortgage..

totally agree.. asalu if its an investment property for example.. like so many west/east people are buying in texas and colorado etc, how can they get rents to pay for their mortgage? no way a local can pay for the mortgage through rent..

needi remote job aithe, koncham duram lo single fam rent ki undu. Dont rent 3000sqft or more house...2500 - 2700 sqft enough. Single fam house unna korika theeruthundi + prime area lo high rents nundi koncham duram ga unte you wont feel like over paying.

Dont know where u stay but Dallas area lo Frisco nearby lo rents are high...so ppl moved to Celina where brand new houses have cheaper rents than frisco. Desi's baane untaru akkada...slowly increasing day by day.

Housing market is due for correction and correction is inevitable. But we never know when it happens. What is homes increase by another 20% and then corrected by 10%, u still end up paying more compared to todays price.

fed is going to increase interest rates very soon. Ideally that should flatted the housing market if not reduce price. But currently inventory is all time low. I mean on avge 10x buyers compared to 1x sellers. This demand can totally outset the market conditions like increased interest rate

fear of inflation could allow the level of demand, in a inflationary environment, it will take 1-2 yrs before market cools off, but it will also impact demand resulting in stable to correction which would be 10% or less, CV has shown that gloomy environments do not end up in recession, people are moving into hot climates, this has been fastened during CV

IL, NJ, NY, CA sagam mandi jump who had plans for long time to move out, the next crisis will start 4 states definitely not in TX, TX could be the last one

Already people are starting to return to work either on a full or a flex schedule in most of the states

I think now is the time they will start as omicron effect has also decreased in most of the states and pfizer mentioned its omicron vaccine will be ready by March which will accelerate return to office further

Clubbed with this summers are usually known for competitive housing and hence unless a recession happens prices might not go down significantly... In the long run if anyone has taken advantage of the low interest rate even subtle adjustments in house prices will not cause much effect
