Hi Friends ,

I've seen posts where people suggest taking leetcode etc for programmers to test their coding skills/practice and get experience of FAANG Interview Type questions.

Are there any such sites or anything that we can follow for Data Engineering roles in these organizations . (No coding ) ETL,SQL, Designing Data Pipelines etc.

That's difference between service companies and product companies which need to scale for millions to billions of users.

Not every service that they build need to be scaled , but algorithms and design fundamentals remain same.

They don't know how to evaluate a candidate in 1 hour, so DS and Algorithms become the basis. If not, everyone will say I did this and that....

Almost any role like SE/Sr.SE/Architect, Data engineering ,DBA, SRE/ DevOps, Engineering Manager have coding rounds.

Managerial positions have less coding and more design and mgmt rounds.

But in FAANG companies  you have to have those coding skills to crack interview.
