Interest rate is a policy whereas private sector is entity. In summary all entities plan their motives based on economic policies. Inka Nuvvu chill ayipoooo. you are actually making my point. you don't even realise it. yes interest rate is one of the things that drives a business decisions, but there's a much bigger indicator that drives it.. DEMAND. Without demand no business will invest in developing their product. what creates this demand? hmmm... the savings rate, you think? haha... its probably true of a less sophisticated economy to rely on savings rate to drive demand.. but as economies move up the value chain ladder, they become more and more debt oriented. Its true of all economies. Not just US. US is just a little too risque about it. anyway, monetary policy is a reaction to how the economy is doing and will always lag it. If the Fed increases the interest rate, it just means the economy can now afford it. nothing more. printing dollars doesn't actually increase basic commodity prices, US has been printing like crazy since 2008. It won't even increase housing prices, if enough housing is built. It can only create a massive spike in things that are scarce. like human talent, gold, etc.

Raven_Rayes
If you actually spent time in improving yourself and not wasting time in this db, you can actually benefit from US monetary policy. lekuntey, nuvvu Facebook lo pani chesina, even if you are currently making a $1m, you will end up a loser. coz you've already resigned to the fact that you can't compete. that you literally have nothing of value that people actually want. and want to raise interest rates so you can save.. haha.. I suspect he won't actually engage with how stupid that comment was.
