It is too much of an expense for companies to maintain big buildings.. rents, cleaning staff, maintenance staff, etc etc.. they save lot of money by giving wfh to most of their staff Unless the role demands lot of face to face collaboration…

So that other people will have work. There are many professions that depend on people going to office.

COVID brought sudden change- economy can't sustain it...so govt. is doing this. Even big companies will bring all employees to office, they never agreed to locate to another state - except few exception

Literally every company is dependent on many other companies doing well. You cannot really live in isolation. Even the small companies contribute and money “trickles up” - read Keynesian Economics.

Yaa. Do u think companies are happy with permanent wfh? No way. Building maintenance etc anni peanuts. Avi elago operational expenses kindaki pothayi.  Lot of companies own the properties. Allowing permanent wfh will reduce the worth of those properties. Chaala untayi ley alantivi.

another point to consider. So job roles need them to go to office. So companies have to consider that too.

Companies look at their own profitability… not what a city or some government wants…

if their work can be done remotely without having all of their employees in office, they would prefer it.. or they might ask them to come few days in a week and share office space instead of having dedicated desks..

If some roles require people to come to office, they will ask those teams…

remote work lo people are putting in more hours than they usually would when they come to office..
