A Connecticut woman told a trooper she didn’t realize how fast she was going after being clocked at 127 mph on Interstate 95 north in Hampton Falls, police said.

LaToya Huff, 36, of Hartford, was arrested and charged with reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

 

About 8:30 a.m. Monday, troopers were monitoring traffic using aircraft when the 2017 Dodge Charger was seen traveling at a high rate of speed in a 65 mph zone. The aircraft is typically used during heavy commuter and holiday traffic, according to a news release.

Huff is due in court on April 21.
