India has the potential to become a great country. It doesn't need friends, it only needs solid alliances.

India should first focus on growing economically, instead of worrying about who its friends. when India does become powerful (which it will, purely based on population), world will be very different from what it is now.

'historical' ties won't matter then. India will do what benefits it.

5-10yrs aa? lol. I've lived in India for the past 5yrs now, and see only incompetence everywhere. even that is understandable, since masses are fools.

but I haven't seen any amazing trade numbers for India that convince that India is gonna be a world power in 5-10yrs. If that was true, I would've bitten the bullet and stayed back in India.

India will eventually get strong. but it'll take a much longer time. say 50-70yrs may be. coz its leaders, and even its people are in no hurry to get strong.

of course, but it never gonna develop cos of its shitty politricks, we have the best taent in the world, but where did that lead to ? US had its first man landing on moon in 1969, what did india do ? they dont have any such
