His impact was monumental vaaa, legspin was a dying art before Warnie burst on to the scene with that magic ball to Mike Gatting. Then he made it not just a relevant skill but something every team wanted to have in having one leg spinner on their team. 

I don't care about his personal life and I have heard reports that he's a womanizer and a party boy etc. Comes with the territory, manodiki unna fame alantidi mari. Could never dominate Indian batsmen, but can't forget how he lead a non descript Rajasthan Royals to win an IPL trophy. Would have been a great captain but unfortunately too many controversies ensured he never became one. 

That never stopped him from being a key think tank of the Aussie team for over a decade, and can never forget his rearguard attacking batsmanship. For someone that never scored a century ironically he was one of the best batsmen too at the position in the lower order he played in. 

Simply said, Warnie is Mr. Cricket to me. Today I feel like I lost a family member as you were such a part of my life growing up watching you play.

RIP legend, you are gone but your memories are eternal. From Australia to South Africa to the villages in India, your impact shall never be diminished and you are an inspiration to a generation of kids who grew up watching you.
