Learn Python. Life set. There is a lot of requirement for python professionals in fintech.

Other alternative is to pursue a career in CRM courses such as Sales force.

On the whole, financial analytics is a good area.

It is more for Finance and IT integration. Python/Big Data with FRM/Stats will be good. There are many jobs on wall street with those requirements. Technofunctional salaries are some of the highest.

What are the good universities with financial aid and all..is it worth spending 30-40 lakhs for this course ?

Depends on chances for H1.. Finance may not qualify as Stem. Finance with stats will qualify and the course can be worth it if the person ends up on the stats side. Financial aid will be difficult. Join Uni and get GA/RA.

cfa is really tough (like relly really tough) and takes lot of time to complete the 3 levels. and to get the charter you have to work in financial field for said years.

Frm on the other hand is relatively easy but needs to work in risk management role for specific years to get charter. It is said that frm's are the first to get fired in a recession.

the downside is once you get into these financial mess you can't tangle out easily. You have to be really sure if this is what you want for the rest of your career.

like veerigaadu said learn python/R . It is best for indians to stick to IT industry.

Yes it is a certification so is frm.

Some companies do sponsor cfa certification, but if you're talking abt h1b sponsor, i have no idea .my brother has a cfa charter but based in london. Even though he's a cfa, his primary work is in IT.

  • Thanks 1
