Everything else is actually much easy an automated to do in the US than in India where you need money, contacts to live comfortably. IMO only emotions to care are abt parents being far away. You can get them here every 6 months and then take a 2 month India visit every year when your kids have summer break. If you don’t have kids then you can be even more flexible abt India trips. About culture, friends, cousins, etc…a lot of people have moved and will move to the US.
