I am in a situation that I need to buy a laptop. My current laptop is old and crying to load windows itself :)

Here are my requirements.

Need at least 15 inch laptop (bigger the better for me and preferably cheaper :) )
Need to learn working with both Android and IOS applications (for my project at work)

Macbook has 16", but costs 2500 :(
I can buy Windows laptop with good config around $1000

However, I heard that I cannot install IOS and work with IOS applications in windows. I heard that there is alternative way to install XCode in VMware, but heard this is a hit/miss most of the times.

Can you please suggest which route to go and if there are any alternative ways?

Ios development antey mac konadam thappa verey option ledhu.  Surprisingly android support for mac is good. Adb tools install chesukovachu. Xcode ala kaadhu. Yes, u can install xcode using vmware but not worth it. u may end up spending lot of time in debugging issues. If u want to run sanity tests on real hardware, forget about vmware. Also ios dsvelopment certificates are pain in vmware(naaku first hand exp ledhu vmware xcode combo lo. Friend okkadu try chesi time bokka ani cheppadu)

If iOS development is must, then you have no choice...

Try to get education discount / Costco sale on Mac 16 - it's 2400+ tax .... It will last twice as longer as 1800$ similar spec laptop.   I don't think you get similar spec for 1k on windows
