Can someone throw light on Mohan Babus claims

That he is providing free education, 25% of their students, irrespective of their caste?????

Last time in 2012, I had a colleague who studied in their Engineering College. He said that a fee concession fo 25-50% will be given to some poor students. But the process of application and consequences are very unpleasant.

1. To apply, both the parents have to meet some officers and literally beg them.

2. The committee will take applications once in an year and does background check of the applicants, make enquiries in their neighbourhood (I agree with this as there will be many cheaters).

3. Between 25-50% of fee concession will be given but there will be many conditions like they have to behave well and be loyal to Manch family.

4. A big billboard will be displayed in and around the college with the names of all beneficiaries, A SHAMEFUL act really as these beneficiaries are always subject to insults by the fellow students.

5. The amount due sans the discount will be chased be paid finally.

6. In total, the whole amount of concession Manchu family gives will not cross a few lakhs in total -- which is nothing given their annual fee receipts of around 400 Crores.

7. Also majority of BC/SC/ST students fees are covered by AP State's Govt as part of free education scheme.

The only thing Manch family is good at is, they will make sure they will put everyone to insult during the process of application, IRRESPECTIVE OF CASTE. They will insult their own caste fellas for the sake of their family pride.

This is direct from my colleague in iGate, Bangalore around 2013. Things might have changed a bit due to deep penetration of Internet into the general life. But this is from a guy who is direct descendant of the same cassette that of Manchu family. I never bothered to know about Manchu family caste, I do not know even now. That colleague told me that he belonged to MBs caste.
