invest and be in debt....pay the banks(US lo money lending super cheap)

the best suggestion i got from an uncle at work(i am always indebted to him)

 

as long as we see money in banks, we will have great vacations, expensive dinners......new luxuries

i am not saying to stop all that, i still go on vacation, have fancy dinners.......but we dont do it to the extreme

Try to pay off monthly bills baa like car payments car insurance total year ki okkasari theeyatam stop paying mobile installments meaning purchase device with full money and clear all debt etc. So appudu automatic ga nee bank la savings kanapadathai. Vachina paisal motham EMI la ke pothe manam 500K earn chesina savings kanapadav baa. 2 years back same boat think chesa Maa ayya paisal lekunnna Ind la happy vundu manamemdhuku lem Ani just cleared all bullchit EMI lu appati nundi last 2 years la okka EMi lekunda leading. Only mandatory bills like electricity water rent or mortgage ilanti escape avvaleni bills thappa anni clear chesi happy life ki shift avvu baa. Just follow ind parents roots baa. As simple as that.

Set up a transfer when your salary falls into Betterment.com account.

Also max your 401k.

That's it....very easy.

Not sure what your salary is.. how much you can afford to invest… if you are not saving anything, it means you are spending everything that you are earning… check your expenses in the last one year and create a chart and see where you are spending more and if there are any expenses that you can avoid.. phone bill, internet, eating outside a lot, travel, shopping (Amazon, Costco etc).. 

One thing that worked for me is to carry cash instead of a credit card.. if you don’t have a card with you, you pretty much stop spending..

grocery shopping ki vellinapudu don't go hungry. Eat your meal and go.

Also when you're planning on cooking food, use those which spoils first. Eg cabbage and carrots last long but spinach goes bad quick.

Don't browse for online shopping and don't go for window shopping

Buy only things that you need and don't buy because they're on sale.
