Amit Shah to set up office in Telangana?

It appears the national leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to focus on Telangana in the coming days, as it sees a bright chance of coming to power in the state in the next elections.

According to party sources, Union home minister Amit Shah has taken up the responsibility of steering the party to victory in the next year’s assembly elections in the state.

He has decided to come to Telangana as frequently as possible to give confidence to the party cadres.

Sources said Shah has decided to set up his own office in Hyderabad and appoint a dedicated staff, which would coordinate with the state BJP leaders and take direction from him from time to time.

According to the BJP leaders, Shah is expected to come to Telangana twice in the month of April – first on April 10 and again on April 14.

On Sri Rama Navami day on April 10, Shah is expected to visit Bhadrachalam to take part in the Sri Rama Kalyanam and present silk clothes to the god.

Later, he would visit Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar in Hyderabad from where he would give a call to the party leaders.

He would also hold a meeting with intellectuals of the party and also take several leaders from other parties into the BJP.

On April 14, Shah will come to Gadwal to flag off the second phase of padayatra of state BJP president Bandi Sanjay. He might also address a public meeting at Jangaon at a later date, party sources said.
