I don't think it's a debba.. good for regional movies especially telugu anthe.. idi varaku youtube lo dubbed lo vache badulu aa extra income manollaki vastundi.. 

mana movies even of range kgf or pushpa cant release head-on with ** bhai/SRK/aamir movies.. we will never be the same as their mainstream heroes

Imo shankar is a great director compared to ssr but he failed to adapt.  
hollywood movie antey budget ekkuva untadi. Graphics cgi kooda better undochu gaa. I am not saying ssr will be successful in hollywood. I am just saying he has better chance compared to all other Indian directors

I find this notion of bollywood losing because other language films became hits is absurd 

Telugu films doing well gives theatre owners a lot of business during lull periods and makes them financially secure Also forces Bollywood to produce quality movies  

It is a mutually beneficial thing 

People also make same absurd competitions for  nations too 

Srilanka , Bangladesh , even Pakistan doing well Economically is beneficial to india in long run 

Same is also true neighbouring states , cities doing well
