If one is a girl, and less than average in interviews, companies like Google, Apple hire them.  That's why many girls get promoted, get hired, these days. Every VP has a quota to fulfill.

Plenty of such stuff happens in Google. Friend got his wife into Google who has no experience by getting her to attend a bootcamp and getting her a referral from the HR.

True. It's happening all around due to virtual interviews (with mostly coding).

System Design is little hard to fake but that also ppl can manage.

I saw this happening at MSFT....they are enforcing diversification policy and selecting candidates based on that even if they are not doing well in the interviews

From what I heard, FB/Meta is doing this stuff since 2015/2016 and they doubled bonus to hire women engineers. For recruiters if they can hire women engineers, they get 2X bonus and interview bar is intentionally lowered or panel will approve their packet despite mediocre interviews.

Now google doing this .

Google has been doing this since 2015, nothing new. 

Same with FB/Meta, MSFT, Amazon and most if not all organizations

I would think so bro for changing careers etc. Depending on what kind of career track you want to get into, there are different kinds of bootcamps. 

General Assembly, Infosec institute, Divergence Academy, Flat iron ila chaala ne unnayi depending on Data Science, Data Engineering, Full stack web dev, Cybersecurity etc. 

I considered one of them for cybersecurity but fee was 10k, so lite
