TYPE 1 means your immune system is killing insulin producing cells( auto immune)  . as of now no cure available for type 1 .

as i said don't stress your self, stress lowers your immunity which is main culprit for all diseases at early age...i have gone through a lot. take it easy don't give a lot of thought to what happened before and just plan what to do. nothing imp than self care. eat healthy, sleep well, spend quality time with family, keep a note of stress triggers and come up with a plan how to deal with stress and anger. Take walk with family, play with kids and spend time with wife. Pray to god if you believe for 15 mins a day also go for better heal insurance plan (stick with copay plans even the premiums are high) last thing you need to worry is calling docs and enquiring about bills with deductible plans.

Bro! Dont get scared. You will get better with diet and exercise. My gut feeling is your DM is not from Covid, but only time will answer that Q.

Ok brother..I am meeting my doctor on April 22.. what questions should I be asking...

You can clear your doubts with your PCP

1. Is it related to Covid? He might say no.

2. What to do? Meds or diet/exercise? Sometimes they say meds until it get to certain level then diet/exercise.

3. Do I need any injectables? Insulin or victoza? probably he would say no.

4. All other random Q you come across. Make a note so you dont forget them.

5. No matter what we say here, answers coming from your PCP will have more weight.
