If Russian economy collapses, it will hardly mean anything for the world. the ill effects stay within the Russian boundaries. That's not the same case with major economies and oil import countries, they will take down half of the World's economy with them.

There is always a huge demand for oil , if Europe stops buying russian oil,  china can absorb the entire stock easily 

Russia is mostly self sufficient economy except a few high tech sectors , they have always designed their economy around isolation
