Rahul Gandhi missed a great opportunity

A lady from Dehradun, Pushpa Munjial, gave away her entire property to Rahul Gandhi. She filed an affidavit in the court to that effect.

Not only that, she gave away 50 grams of gold. At current market value the entire transaction is worth around 54,00,000 (Fifty Four Lakhs, Fifty as Property and Four as Gold).

The news was widely reported in the press.

But Rahul Gandhi seems to have missed an opportunity here.

He should have gone over to the lady's house and graciously accepted the donation as a Congress leader and transferred it to the party. Had he done that, it would have made for great optics.

I am sure, Narendra Modi G is soon going to orchestrate such a donation from someone and he will make a big song and dance about it.

In the current situation in the country, marketing and PR have become more important than pure substance.

Had Rahul Gandhi visited Telangana frequently, say once every 6 months the congress situation in the state would have been much better. 

There are  many such missed instances.

You reap what you sow. Muslims prapancham lo ekkadunna problems face chestunnaru, and they blame everyone else for their problems except themselves. Introspection, reforms, development laantivi asalu pattinchukoru. They need to accept the pluralism of the world and stop enforcing their value system on others.
