Yeah, naturally when the treasury’s is empty that’s when the Govt resorts to borrowing.

AP’s case ade. By the time Jagan came to power, he was greeted with debts and no income. Every years ki government reset avutadi kani appu matram perugutune vuntadi.

But there was considerable revenue generation from taxes, registration fees, construction activity, etc and people had plenty of work to do… now it is hard to even get sand for construction… Jagan could have used the same money to give incentives to set up new companies in AP instead of distributing freebies.. Sri city is a very good example set by ysr and cbn

Who knows whether it is 40% or 10% now. Moreover CBN time is done. He is too old to handle Jagan.

Already chusam ga.. press meet petti ela edichado..

AP needs stronger mindset guys for this election..

Corruption ni control lo petti.. honest ga rule chesthe chalu..

Also reducing freebies will give enough capital to improve infrastructure.. this could be the starting step for him..

Nah..that was the myth. CBN had resorted to inter departmental expenses from 2017 itself. That itself is a measure that state’s finances have been ducked up pretty bad. There was no balance between receipts and spending from 2014 itself.

Covid added fuel to the fire, drop in revenue and interest and debt burden doubled up so much so that it’s at a point of no return. Freebies cost about 30k per year and beneficiaries are in huge number, the amount equivalent to paying salaries. You can equate the size of freebies to the state’s spending ability.
