USA passport renewal for kids after 5 years

i will need to renew passport for my kid, he completed 5 years born in USA, can you pl share the process.

It’s simple and straightforward. Just follow steps on the site.

It’s very simple, just take an appointment with US postal service and carry the documents needed And photo ( some offices has passport photo service so you can ask them to take passport photo, they will charge something)

you are right just have the application ready and take the original dob cert and old passport etc to usps and smooth process

first take an appointment on usps website like the one’s offering passport  services

fill out application form online
original birth certificate
copy of original birth certificate
parent’s original id’s like driving license
copy of parent’s original id’s
100$ check to US state for passport book
35$ plus 15$ for photos if ur taking at usps so like 50$ to usps
old passort of kid if u already have one

they will return original birth certificate to you after validating and keep only old passport as proof and send it along with ur applications and other supporting documents 

you will receive new passport in 4 weeks and old passport in 2 months
