The rental market in Singapore is not equally accessible  to all races. Some Indian tenants in Singapore face discrimination renting as prospective landlords screen them based on race.  As the pandemic draws out, the rental market is booming with an increasing pool of renters - permanent residents or long term pass holders returning to Singapore, or Malaysian workers who cannot travel between borders due to travel restrictions. However,  for some it’s not always easy finding their unit of choice.

Another Singapore's oldest red light zone located in the Little India. The concept of business here is nothing you would see in this part of the world and is not quite the same as the one in Petain Road. I was caught by the working lady and the mafia, but saved myself in the end.

Anyone know how all these thousands of Filipino, Indonesian & Malay domestic-help women are allowed to 'freelance' as sex workers in such a strict, rule-bound society as Singapore?

Are these women human-trafficked by organized gangs?

If so, why does the Singaporean government turn a blind eye to these 'maids'?
