FTE 170k base + standard 6-7% bonus based on performance, no stock options , is that good or should I a forask more? right now in a remote less expensive place but planning to move to North Carolina or surrounding warm weather states. Any other things to think /ask about for negotiation?

Not 300K bro… base salary is good.. but pretty much everyone is giving 15% bonus and joining bonus too… he can either negotiate with them or look for a better offer… that will put him in >200K range

Thanks for the ideas bro, bonus is there based on company performance but have to discuss how much that would be typically. Also joining bonus to be negotiated. I understand some tech giants giving 200k+ but this one is remote and offer in hand vs getting call from such companies now with all H1B hassles to figure out on time.
