Because of good rains in the last few years, ground water levels have increased.

Hyderabad does not have a water supply 24/7, but there was never a plan to provide 24/7 water supply. From alternate day supply for fulfilling drinking water needs, it's now twice daily. The water board has increased allocations so much that one hour of supply is enough for daily needs and any gaps are filled by the ground water.

With three massive reservoirs being constructed and expected to be commissioned in the next couple of years, ground water will act as a backup and City will be dependent on water board's supply.

30 years nundi water metered Hyderabad la, they have also upgraded few times but it has always been that way

customer pay cheyali connection plus meter/installation charges

meters has been mandated since 1989 and customer has to pay for it
