If I'm correct, this interest rate increase is temporary. Once the supply chain is restored and inventory is restored in all aspects of our life. may be oka 6 months tharvathaa Interest malli thaggistharuuu. Half of infaltion issues are also due to inventory problems. Its not just afforadability issue.

So low interests will come back again. They wont risk with a recession. Most importantly I believe in corporate greed in this country.

Fed will keep increasing rates until either inflation falls or job losses

If you consider previous rate hikes around 2006-2007 it took 5-7 years to come back to 3.5-4% level from 6-7%. After covid equations all changed so not sure what will happen.
