Of course, Megastar’s Acharya movie was shot long back, before Balakrishna’s Akhanda was released in theatres. But then, it looks like there is a big impact of Akhanda on Acharya if the climax fight in this Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan starrer is anything to go by.

In fact, Acharya’s climax fight sequence was shot pretty much recently only and it looks like Koratala Siva has got inspired by the film Akhanda a lot, and the way Boyapati crafted some breathtaking visuals using Balakrishna as the primary weapon is amazing.

In the Acharya climax fight, we find similar adrenaline-rushing visuals, the overall kumkum powder splashing effect, and the dazzling airy movements are attractive. However, after boring the audience for straight two hours, one climax fight sequence won’t save the film.

At least, Acharya should have got into the lines of Akhanda, and come up with some high intensity fight sequences such that B & C centres would have enjoyed the movie a lot. Also the background score should be quite loud in this age of Thaman and Ravi Basrur, and Mani Sharma’s old school scoring simply gave headache to the audience.
