The sale of Pawan Hans, a profitable PSU to a Pvt company that was formed just 6 months ago with an authorised capital of ₹1 lakh raises many questions & doubts.

Pawan Hans was valued at ₹3,700 Crores in 2017! Then How come 49% of it was sold at ₹211 Cr?

Air India’s new owner Talace Pvt Ltd was also set up just few months before Air India’s sell off. 
 

Good that govt finally decided to sell off Pawan Hans. This PSU which was initially set up to cater to regional connectivity has never been able to do so. Biggest customer is ONGC which uses Pawan Hans to ferry employees to its off shore rigs and by private companies to move its on hilly terrains.
