Usually there are taxes on gas/fuel which goes towards maintenance of roads and highways, with the evolution of eV all state governments are considering additional tax for ev since they are not paying any fuel taxes

Yeah conservatives hate paying taxes and yet they make a living by exploiting natural resources. 

On the other hand, liberals rely on govt for welfare. No body is innocent here.
