Recently got the quote from costco for lennox 

1 stage ML180E , ML14XC1 3 ton - $10,650 (10 % costco shop card)

2 stage SL280V ML14Xc-1 3 ton - $11,500 (10 % costco shop card)

Checked with home depot to get a quote for Rheem (brand is cheap compare to lennox), but the guy came from Hd was trying to sell lennox, and told they don't do Rheem these days.

Freon leakage or what?

problem emi ledu baa. it's been 7 years and running good. but it is close to shelf life 10 years. so in future if any issues, better to know what to do

Bro, u seem like thopu in this topic. I also have CHW, but made sure everything is covered in the policy during coverage. Here is my current situation, A/C unit is original from 1995. In IL. Pls suggest.

after inspection, it won't cover. ee part missing aa part missing ani evo evo cheppi , final ga 1 or 2 weeks tarvata we don't cover antaru, waste of time and money.

Dont go with big companies, they will charge more on labor. 

If you know any local HVAC technician he will do same job with very low price.

for me

we have our local guy, he came first checked ( free of cost for checking), immediately told ECoil gone, it will cost around 4k including labor. 

we took 2 nd 3 rd opinions, they gave quote around 7k including labor.

our guy went to the store and purchased lennox c35 e coil and installed on same day very professional, and I immediately registered online, and the warranty on parts will cover for 10 years. 

once you enter the lennox part's sl no , it will show all the details, when purchased and which dealer and licenced hvac technician details.

 

other guys told they will take 3 days to get the parts and labor. 

Note: if you want shop around on lennox machines, you won't correct price. if you have license number ( HVAC) then the dealer will provide the price. if you don't have that, they never told you the correct price. I don't know about Costco.
