my engg friend got an offer recently, 

Role: Technical Lead

Company: StockX

Location: Job Posting(Blore), Work location(Remote - Hyd).

Salary: 70 Lakhs base

TC: 1.32 C(including RSU in $ currency).

My wife’s team asked for 10 headcount this year. Org approved 0 for mountain view and  10 for banglore.

I heard similar things from few more friends too.

covid lo complete remote work chesam gaa. And proved productivity dint take big hit with remote work. Now companies are using that data for their own benefit. Lot of hiring is going to happen for big companies in india with crazy packages.

Cheaper here than india at that cost, for example banks pay around 100k for senior dev remote in us , same experience india lo ayitey 50lac minimum so cost is same and onsite

Ikkada 100k endi. Banks benefits baguntayi. Bonus ekkuva untadhi. Easy gaa 150k avge tc. India lo 50lacs andariki ivvaru. 10-20lakhs range vallu ekkuva vuntaru

If u already own a home and have a car, 30 lakhs would be good. Lekhapothey 30 saripovu in my opinion. Cost of living is very high atleast in hyd

My second cousin got 20 lakhs package in campus selections.  Lot of companies are ready to pay to attract top talent.  That was not even faang company
