i think it'll take 1 more year for housing market to stabilize, highlights from article:

very little relief in the shortage of homes for sale. Inventory at the end of April stood at 1.03 million homes for sale, which is down 10.4% from April 2021

Tight supply kept home prices higher, despite rising interest rates. The median price of an existing home sold in April was $391,200, the highest on record and an increase of 14.8% from a year ago.

Sales of homes priced between $100,000 and $250,000 fell 29% year over year, while sales of those priced between $500,000 and $750,000 rose 19%. Sales of homes priced over $1 million rose 16% compared with a year ago

Sales continued to be swift with the average home sitting on the market just 17 days before going under contract

The number of households interested in becoming homeowners remains high, despite waning confidence that now is a good time to buy

New home purchase activity declined on a monthly and annual basis in April, as the spike in mortgage rates cooled demand

Summer lo sales are usually high. More pronounced effects in housing can be observed after August.

Necessary and last 2 years nundi pressure vundevallu enter avutaru 1-3 months then we will see actual market. I am now getting email/call everyday from builders as they checking about my availability in market which completely other way a month back.

I am guessing by year end we will see some change in new home prices. Used home prices already declining. A month back Maa friend Dallas lo 720 home ki 800 offer chesadu.. similar size home now listing around 700 with no offers on the table.

Inflation valla construction cost 35% perigindi. I don't think house price go down but may be stabilizes here..Inflation inka perigithe new house costs inka perugutayi
