What companies are you aiming for.

Yeah, if you want to land in a growth tech companies, you need to have a good command on Algo, DS, system design and problem solving skills.

Interviews are bit compitive now compared to few years ago.

But as always, good preparation helps.

Are you applying for back end developer?

Yes, aiming for backend or full stack developer positions. Interviews attend ayyi many years ayyindi. Just created an account in leetcode. Current job lo most of the time dealing with issues/meetings/enhancements and leading some of the team members tho saripotundi. So lost touch with intensive coding.

Not targeting specific companies. Better ga pay chesi work life balance unte chalu. Any good resources to start with DS and Algos. Don’t have any experience with cracking the leetcode problems. I might need a lot of preparation.

Oh..

I recommend saving time is crucial. I guess, you may need some family time as well along with office.

So, below items may help get some time back.

1. not attending meetings where your presence is not required.

2. Elevating team members to own up few things with minimal supervision.

3. Reduce the email, chat  noise is another

I recommend keep solving some problem on LC. start with easy.

It takes time but you will get there with practice

Thanks for the the inputs bro. Already working on some of these points. Finding good resources who can take some responsibility to alleviate my work load is really challenging.

heard some good things about interview kickstart. Seems to be very expensive. Is it worth it?.

Blindly solving leer code won’t get you anywhere, you need to learn the method behind the madness. Heard interview kickstart is good if you are serious and have the basics. But it’s also expensive I guess.

1. Prepare for a month with some coding
2. Join blind app and ask for help

3. You will fail about 10-15 interviews which will teach you path to success

Don’t waste time in studying toomuch, don’t wait for months between interviews as you loose focus, just fail and attend next one in 1-2 weeks
