Bhushan Kumar of T-Series has said that 'Adipurush' is being made on a budget of Rs 500 Cr. That makes it costlier than 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram'.

Speaking to a portal, Kumar floated the number. This is the first time that the makers of the Prabhas-starrer have given a specific number. Hitherto, the media has been making speculations without official confirmation.

The 5-billion figure is likely an inflated figure for the purposes of publicity. Whatever may be the budget of the Om Raut directorial, the audience have to gear up to spend extraordinary amounts on buying the ticket.

The producers of 'Adipurush' are going for the kill despite Prabhas delivering a flop in the form of 'Radhe Shyam'. They know that an epic mythological action movie will definitely attract the masses.

The film hits the cinemas on January 12 next year.

waste of money and time...his charm worked only for Baahubali mostly because of SSR...I don't think his charm will work again...the producers should think twice if that kind of a budget is really necessary...

I heard this movie is motion capture, like avatar. So, what we see is not actual faces but rendered digitally. That's why shooting is wrapped in no time. Except sets, no need for makeup or costumes etc.. actors just enact like in rehearsals and they capture the movements.

Possible, but if music is good and motion capture is same level as avatar ( released 15 years ago) then it will run by itself. 

For t-series it's a money minting opportunity, they paid less for Prabhas as he shot for couple of weeks total

He has star power ,and cutout which no Bollywood actor have and also movie on ramayanam. Minted 234 cr with radhe shyam and 430+ with sahoo ,even movies are flops by db standards
