Gurugram: Man commits suicide in hotel room; suicide note alleges harassment by estranged wife & in-laws

Gurugram: The police on Monday said that a 31-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in a Gurugram hotel. He was reportedly harassed by his estranged wife and her family members. His wife, her father, mother and brother have been booked by the police on the charge of abetment of suicide. The police also said that a five-page note was recovered from the hotel room.

On May 29, the victim working with a private firm checked into a hotel room in Sector 12 area, said the police. On June 4, the police received information that the man committed suicide at the hotel. Upon receiving the information, a team rushed to the spot from Sector 14 police station, reported The Indian Express.

The man was staying in a room on the third floor of the hotel. The door was bolted from inside, when it was pushed open, a man was found hanging. There was a notepad found on the bed, and a five-page suicide note was recovered. According to the note, the man’s estranged wife and his in-laws were harassing him. They also threatened to file a case against him, said the police.

okkodo okko type man, andaru brave ga undale ani ledu kadha... some people are too emotional....

ma friend circle lo recently one committed suicide, wife harassment, kid ni india teeskapyi she minting money every month dollars, and emotional black mailing with kid, vadiki kid ante chala istam, finally wife emotional black mailing thru kid and torture cos of intense pressure he couldnt handle, he committed suicide, 

but he didnt write a letter ot any, rasunte bagundedi bokka lo esi kulla podali ilanti wife and in laws ni... 

good that wife and in laws are in jail and had charges on them.... asalu uru tiyali ilanti in lwas and wife ni... imo

More men should come out and speak out especially vulnerable  men about emotional abuse by wives and in laws. But our society also to be blamed where it treats men who expresses emotions as cry baby and result is this. I feel sensitive type men should assess the situation and take a wise decision not to get married and remain single.

I appreciate that the police took action on them in persecution in-laws and pestering wife, india is also now good on laws, they dont care the gender anymore, 

And yes emotional weak hearted men should stay away from these sham marriages man, 

I am proud to be single myself...
