Car insurance without own car

You can't. Legally you shouldn't. That insurance will be invalid if you have to file a claim.

Owner holds the car insurance. If you need to use, then they have to add you to their policy. If they don't add and you make an accident their uninsured driver coverage will kick in but their insurance rates will go up a bit.

Buy it from AAA .. liability insurance… you no need to own a car . But it covers liability insurance… if in an accident … it covers other party .

if you are renting a car … liability insurance will cover by AAA and collision will cover by credit card (most credit cards may cover this but check you card Benefits)

if you are using friends car … liability will cover by AAA and damage to friends car will cover by his own insurance.

it’s always good to have liability car insurance…if you are frequently using others car . Insurance cost also very low and it also saves you money when you are renting by declining rental car insurance.
