May be its my emotion talking, but i dont want to do that anymore.. i will try atleast to my best

Don't settle for less. Give all that you have and try once, work hard for 4-6 months for better future, more pay.

Never too late bro. I seen people in 40's who came from mechanical background cracking FAANG. This is not a SpaceX rocket technology. Just need consistency and dedication.

When you work in big company, you are surrounded by smart people, you learn a lot and get more motivated.

Ehe vekkirinchaledu. Genuinely surprised.

DE write and manage data pipelines. They convert raw data into usable query-able data for analysts and scientists to peruse. They are also responsible for accuracy in the data they build.

Analysts analyze these data sets to gleam actionable outcomes.

Data scientists act based on predictive behavior and drive company actions to enhance or overcome potential pitfalls or potentials increase in business growth.

first part was always there as data analytics - it used to be called informatica or stuff like that.

second part used to be called MIS - management information system - primarily for business users. I can understand using ML for it.

third part koncham hype laga undhi. I mean - yes any owner will see the data and plan for it - not enough to justify a career only for this.

Np. Have a clear plan bro. Set the goal on where you want to go and which tech. So that you don't need to switch in between.

Let me tell you my recent interview exp:

its not FAANG company, but I would the next tier to FAANG.

For staff level position.

I had 6 rounds.

First 2 rounds : Leetcode

Third : Data modeling

Fourth: API design for a use case

fifth:  System design

sixth:  Cultural round.

Stress was not on  java, aws  or particular  language  specific questions.

Its all about coding abilities, design , language agonistic  concepts.

How much coding involved in this ? how to start learning ?

You can start from udemy. You have complete courses. Stick to one course and finish it. Start giving interviews you will know better.

I mostly got easy/medium.

It was live coding with interview.

So they give a problem, after you finish, they will ask approach for different variant's of  same problem.

Why data modelling and API design? Is it for a specific role?
