Same like MAVNI in us. Ppl can work in army for few years. After that they’ve take some break. In that break time , they can do whatever they want . Govt will give them some loans if they want to start a business, they’ll provide an equivalent to 12th degree cert, they can work as police in states etc. 

currently ppl who recruited with this program are less than 3%. Govt wants to hire more ppl from this scheme & save money on salaries/pensions & invest that for buying weapons. Unfortunately, youth are treating army jobs like cash cows. Before turning 20s itself they can earn 6 digit salary & get a good looking girl & other benefits like free land, free dharu etc. 

do you think these people will join in army & serve the country ?

Protesters are youth who cleared physicals and medicals two years back and waiting for written exam which is final step and was cancelled multiple times. Now all of sudden govt cancelled previous process and bought in new recruitment process called agnipath. So two years lo wait chepinchi epudu dobbei ante youth enduku silent ga untaru ?

Ayya sami MAVNI is just a scheme apart from their usual recruitment process … whereas Agnipath replaces all recruitment process.

Every year govt hires 50k soldiers and using this scheme they will only hire 48k soldiers less than previous years. who said with this scheme they are going to hire more ?

Every year govt spending 15-25% of money on defense. Why ppl treat defense jobs like govt jobs ? If they really willing to do service to the country there are many options apart from defense. Assal country Ki seva cheyyali ankune vadu itla vidhwamsam cheyyadu.

Lol its 15% of yearly budget and just 2.5% of GDP… neighboring China spends 7% of GDP on defense.

"service oriented people" yendhi? ante ippudunna soldiers antha eating oriented people aa? service chesthalledha?  are they not putting thier life on the line ?only bodi gaadi scheme lo vasthense service oriented aa ?

"treat" like govt jobs endhira. It is a govt job. govt job ni govt job kaaka inkela treat chesthaar.

Why cant they make the same rules for IAS / IPS  then - just contract use and throw - no benefit. no pension and no health care.
