USA cards work at 90% places but inform your bank prior to going on vacation as they don’t block it as fraudulent activity, atm also works but atm fee estadu, kani advantage they pay forex exchange rates.

you can manage without indian bank or credit card.

xoom install chesuko incase you need cash urgently(indian bank or western union)

Upto 10k varaku cash carry cheyavachu anukunta, nenu 6k carry chesina, incase you plan to buy big ticketed items better to carry cash if you could, they paid 80.50/1usd when the ongoing exchage rate was $79 and something and xoom quoted me $76.50 , they prefer kadak $100 or $50, all other lower denominations will earn lower exchange rate

Konni stores lo terminals upgraded levvu, they can’t process international cards. All chota mota stores encountered the same problem 

but for me it worked in all places where the terminal had a tap feature(nfc), upto 50k varaku unna transactions lo kuda use chesina

Chala places lo they are asking local Indian card..Best is use cash or phonepe app..
