Saturday law mowing chestunte by mistake the extension cord which connects the lawn mower to the charging port came under the mower and snapped. 

Adi avvangane realized that the charging port, the garage door open/close switch which is connected to that charging port all stopped working. Checked to see if the charging port that is attached to the garage opening system on the ceiling of the garage is working and it is not. 

Looks like it's a case of a relay that went bad when the extension cord snapped under the lawn mower. Evarikanna idea unda if replacing the relay would fix it? Handyman is quoting $350 to replace a simple relay.

If it's just a relay switch, you can do it by yourself...if the wiring is messed up then go with a professional bro...maa town lo owners cannot do any electrical work by themselves unless its just the basic things like changing light bulb, etc...otherwise, either me or the contractor have to take a permit to have the work done..

garage door wire is very sensitve.

if it is only trouble with garaga not working, u might need to go for re-wiring of the opener.

Anytime you are going to ask online on how to do electric work, then you shouldn’t. Electric work is risky.
